Wordpress Upgrades - Protect Your Site

You may well have heard all the buzz online about the attacks on WordPress security. Unfortunately this is no joke, and it needs to be taken very seriously, or all you've built could be hijacked or worse, lost to you.

The secure your wordpress site Codex has an outline of what permissions are okay. Directory and file permissions can be changed via an FTP client or within the page from the web host.

If you're one of the ones that are proactive, I might find it somewhat more difficult to crack your password. But if you're one of those ones published here that are reactive, I might get you.

Recently, an unknown hacker hacked the blog of Reuters and published a news article. Since Reuters is a news site, their reputation is already ruined due to what the hacker did. The same thing may happen to you if you don't pay attention on the safety of your WordPress blog.

It's time to register for a Facebook account and use this individual's name and identity. After I get it all set up, I'll be emailing you posing as your address friend and asking you to be friends with me on Facebook (or Twitter, or whichever societal site).

Of course you can set up more plugins to make your shop more user-friendly like share buttons or automatic plugin. That's all. Your shop is now up and running!
